Assistant District Manager

We have an opening with a well-established organization that supports essential operations within the community. They are seeking a motivated professional who is organized, dependable, and comfortable balancing administrative responsibilities with hands-on operational support.

This role works closely with senior leadership to help coordinate daily activities, support team performance, and ensure operations run efficiently. The position plays a key role in maintaining organization, communication, and continuity across multiple work functions.

What You’ll Do:

  • Support daily operations and help ensure work is completed efficiently and on schedule
  • Coordinate activities across teams and track progress on key initiatives
  • Assist with reporting, documentation, and operational organization
  • Help manage priorities, workflows, and resource planning
  • Provide guidance and support to staff to maintain productivity and accountability
  • Step in to support leadership needs and operational decision-making as required
  • Contribute to a safe, organized, and service-focused work environment
  • Assist with administrative, operational, and project-related tasks as business needs evolve

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Public Administration, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in utility management, public works, or a similar operational environment
  • At least 1 year of supervisory experience
  • Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Proven problem-solving skills and sound judgment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard business technology
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Ability to obtain required industry certification within one year
  • Ability to lift and move materials or equipment up to 50 pounds as needed
