We have an opening with a local manufacturing operation that’s been in business for decades and is now entering a growth phase—sales have increased by 30% over the last few years. This role is a department of one, managing a $15M spend and playing a key part in keeping the supply chain running smoothly. With a new ERP system recently implemented, the ideal candidate will bring experience in process and procedure development, training, and cross-functional collaboration. This is a great opportunity for a problem-solver who wants to grow into department leadership.

What You’ll Do:

• Process purchase orders and documents in line with company policies
• Negotiate terms with suppliers including pricing, deadlines, and expectations
• Maintain accurate purchasing records and documentation
• Coordinate with managers to maintain inventory levels and ensure timely delivery
• Troubleshoot and expedite orders as needed
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to clarify requirements
• Champion a Safety First mindset in every task and interaction

What We’re Looking For:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education a plus
• 2+ years of purchasing experience, preferably in manufacturing
• Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred)
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and cross-functionally
• Interest in growing into a leadership role
