HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Unpopular opinion… I love January. It feels fresh and like it is full of opportunity. I am a New Years Resolution Girl. I love them and year after year, I set too many.
This year, I have none. That’s right, not one. And that is on purpose. I think, sometimes, it’s ok to put one foot in front of the other and enjoy. And that is my plan for 2025. We’ll see how it goes, sometimes plans change. I’ll keep you posted…
And speaking of putting one foot in front of the other, 2025 is shaping up to be another year (Cue DJ Kahlid) where we have no idea what is coming our way in terms of employment law changes, labor market trends, employee engagement as a nation, compensation benchmarks and everything else employment related.
I know there are people out there saying they know what is going to happen in terms of these topics but I have decided to stop pretending. The pandemic taught me that it is ok to say, “I have no idea”. And that doesn’t make me less of a subject matter expert. It makes me a realist.
Here is what I hope you read… No matter what happens in 2025, the TPP team will be here to support you, walk you through any changes, have your back, and for an HR appropriate laugh when you need it… just take a look at our Core Values!
