Gratitude and Growth: Wrapping Up 2024 at TPP

It’s that time again… Time for my annual sappy newsletter article where I ooze gratitude and reflect on another tough but exciting year at TPP. Like many of you, this year has brought a lot of change to our organization. I just said to someone this morning, “If organizations don’t change, they die”. A little morbid, but I believe that to my core. While change is necessary and is already benefiting us greatly, it’s tough. And we’ve felt that this year. But, as much as it has been tough, it has been awesome too.

Here are some of the highlights of my year… (And if you know me, you know my head works in bullet points so we have to go over the highlights in bullet point format).

  • We have a new leadership team at TPP. And we are kicking butt and taking names. I am so excited about our LT, the wonderful things they have already accomplished and what 2025 holds. If you have not met Erin and Rob, you are missing out. They are awesome. (And elephant in the room, of course I think Rob is awesome, I picked him for life).
  • We also have 2 new team members that are doing their own butt kicking. Jessica and Monica have rounded out our team in the best way. I can’t wait to see what 2025 and beyond holds for them
  • And, last but not least, on the employee front, there is the AMAZING Elizabeth. I count my lucky stars that she joined our team 2 years ago and has stuck with me through thick and thin.
  • Our training division grew exponentially this year, and I can’t wait to see what it is going to do next year.
  • We worked hard on internal processes and are seeing the benefits of a new IT system and support, meeting systems, and client support mechanisms. This is all to streamline our processes so we can spend more time better supporting you. · We have new clients and new community partners and we’re excited about all of them.
  • I am finishing out my 2-year term as State Director for SHRM Oklahoma. This has been a worthwhile endeavor and one that has humbled me time and time again. I’m so grateful that I was able to represent the HR professionals across our state for the last two years (And now it is time to rest).

There’s so much more, but I want to leave room to tell you that I. AM. GRATEFUL. I am grateful for you, our readers, I am grateful for the clients that we get to support, the boards that we serve on, our communities, and I am so, so grateful for my team. I am blessed. I get to do work every day that I love and I have a family that I would hand pick, time and time again. And my wish for you is that you have the same. So, as we head into the holidays and think about wrapping up 2024, remember that we are grateful for you. And the entire TPP team and I wish you Happy Holidays and a Happy New Year. See you in 2025, if not before.
