Direct Hire

Pay: $17/hr during contract period

Schedule: Mon-Friday 8am-5pm rotating Saturdays and may include late shifts

Benefits: Full benefits paid 100% by the client upon permanent hire (after 90 days)

About the Opportunity

Our client, a busy and well-established healthcare practice, is seeking a personable and reliable Front Desk Receptionist to join their team on a contract to hire basis. Responsibilities

  • Greet patients and families upon arrival and check them in using the practice’s system

  • Confirm completion of pre-check-in requirements, including consent and authorization forms

  • Scan and upload insurance cards; ensure patient information is up to date

  • Collect copays and address account balances; document all financial conversations in the system

  • Verify insurance eligibility for upcoming appointments

  • Print forms, receipts, immunization records, and physical forms as needed

  • Direct billing and insurance questions to the appropriate internal team

  • Keep the waiting area tidy at the end of each day

  • Assist with incoming calls and schedule routine and follow-up appointments

  • Scan and upload forms into the system

  • Provide coverage for late shifts and scheduled Saturdays

 

Additional Shared Duties (as needed)

  • Schedule various appointment types, including prenatal, conference, and checkups

  • Send appointment reminders

  • Retrieve and manage voicemails, emails, and messages

  • Open and distribute mail

  • Scan and attach incoming documents (mail and fax) to patient records for provider review

  • Coordinate and confirm lunches with pharmaceutical reps

  • Print daily and weekly schedules for provider reference

  • Reschedule appointments in the event of provider availability changes

 

What We're Looking For

  • Friendly, professional demeanor with strong customer service skills

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a busy environment

  • Prior front desk or administrative experience in a healthcare setting is a plus

  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and rotating weekends

 

This is a contract-to-hire role with the opportunity for full-time placement after 90 days. Once hired permanently, the client provides 100% employer-paid benefits.
